In 2019, Quantavious Thomas, (i mean, Young Nudy) did a collaboration tape with Pi'erre Bourne entiled “Slimierre” and that is where the recognition started flowing in. Nudy also blew up from an unreleased song with Playboi Carti called “Pissy Pamper” which was also produced by Pierre (This song still has Soundcloud in a figure four). The Stringy and Edgy beats by Pierre has found a good home for Mr. Hellcat.
Better known as 21 Savage’s cousin, Young Nudy’s word play for his tracklists are very unique. He will name a track something silly such as “Smelly Back Air shots” and will not say one single lyric pertaining to the name of the track. Im a sucker for silly behavior, even his gruesome, evil songs are silly punchlines but dark. To me, that evens out well because its giving the vibe of chief keef, thats why i believe more artist are being drawn to him now. He is consistently with dropping tapes such as the Slimeball series ; “Anyways”; “Dr. EV4L” and “Rich Shooter “. When it comes to Nudy’s ability to hop on the track with a “feel good” type beat, he is just about undefeated. Although him and 21 savage have the same approach when it comes to making music. Faded in the Booth (originally dropped as a mixtape) is one of my top/ favorite projects of his.
